After last year's enthusiasm for the 2022 vintage in Bordeaux, we couldn't have imagined it could get any better. But the 2023 vintage surprised us with its diversity and availability.

The wines of this vintage meet all Bordeaux expectations: lower alcohol content (Lafite Rothschild 13%), excellent structure, balance, and freshness. Furthermore, there are higher yields, meaning more bottles at currently acceptable prices.

The year really turned out well; vineyards weren't affected by mold, low temperatures, or hail. If the world tends towards more power and maturity, Bordeaux this year showed its strength in balance and extraordinary freshness.

Young wines will be available for purchase and pre-orders (en primeur) starting this week.

The list of all the wines that left us immensely excited would be truly long, but we would like to share a few of them with you to start.

One of the most outstanding wines of this vintage is undoubtedly Chateau Leoville Poyferré and Chateau Cheval Blanc.

In terms of value for money, this year belongs undoubtedly to Chateau Le Crock, Chateau Glana, or Chateau Beaumont, where the quality surpassed their price.

And we cannot forget the exquisite wine from Chateau Figeac.

Year after year, they relentlessly strive for the top among Bordeaux's best players and still can't get enough. When we tasted the wine of the 2023 vintage, we felt a chill down our spine with the feeling that we couldn't add any flavor that could further improve the wine.
